"Bear Bear"

This week, my mom (Bebe) brought Riley a book, "Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See?," and a stuffed bear that goes with the story. We have never seen Riley react quite that way to a toy. He was thrilled! We had so much fun just watching him play with the "Bear Bear" (as Daddy calls it).

He also is wanting more and more to have what Mommy and Daddy are eating or drinking. Yesterday, when I was drinking a smoothie, he watched me intensely and kept reaching for my glass. Later, I actually used one of his bottles like a cup and let him drink a little breast milk from it (just a sip). He drank it no problem, no mess. It's like he knew exactly what to do! He did it again today with a whole ounce.

Yesterday, Riley woke us up "singing." He just kept making noises like he was singing. It was so precious listening to that sweet voice. He did it for at least 10 minutes. Last Thursday at our group, one of Riley's friends was screaming very loudly. Since then, he's turned up the volume on his noises and babbles, particularly when he's upset or excited. It's kind of funny.
