It's amazing how much a baby changes in 3 months. When we look at Riley's newborn pictures, he looks so tiny! It's hard to remember him that size. On Thursday, he was 15 lbs, 10 oz. So, he continues to gain weight very fast. Someone said to me, "His dad must be tall and a big guy." It's not just his change in size that amazes us; it's incredible how much a three-month old is aware of and how much they can learn to do already. He learns new things every day. He is starting to grab more and more things with both hands. He bats at things over and over. He has a polar bear that roars when you push his head down or pull it up - Riley does both. He has a firefly that makes noise when you move the wings back or forth - he does both. It doesn't take him long to do these things either. When he starts doing them he just does them in rapid succession. He recognizes songs or games you play with him. It's just incredible how fast they grow and learn!

It is amzing how much babies change in the first year. From just laying around unable to do anything for themselves to walking, all in a short year. I'm glad you are having so much fun being parents! We certainly are loving being grandparents! When are you coming out here? We are going to a open house for Shayla and her fiance on Sunday.
